This afternoon I joined in the English Corner at the Wuyi Square. There I met Tom, an American boy. He was tall and cute, with blue eyes and brown hair. He was as old as I. We talked with each other for two hours. He told me that his parents had come to China on business. It so happened that he was on holidays. So he came with them.
He was glad to see that so many Chinese children like English, and we agreed to keep in touch with each other later on. How happy I am to have made a new friend!
Everyone needs friends. A friend can give us help and share our difficulties and happiness. But how can we make friends?
First, to make friends, you must be friendly to others. Smile at others and you are sure to get a smile in return. You should try to make a stranger feel at home wherever he happens to be. Think more of others than of yourself and never judge a person by his appearance and clothes.
Second, friends should negotiate instead of quarrel. When you don't agree someone, please discuss with him.
Finally, never believe in those who leave you when you are in trouble. And never leave your friend when he is in trouble. Remember, a friend in need is a friend indeed.
Friends should be faithful to each other. So long as you can put your friend's interests in front of yours, you will have a lot of good friends.
Do you have a hard time making friends? It sometimes can be difficult, but this is not a skill that we cannot improve. In fact, once you start making friends, it actually is addictive and a lot of fun. The key thing to making friends is being a friend yourself and being genuine. Go ahead and start making friends. Respect differences of opinion. Be reliable. Be trustworthy. It's nice to have friends. Sometimes you need that one person to talk to. You can play games, hang out or even just talk. So consider the suggestions above to meet people and form strong, lasting friendships.
There are lots of things you can do. First, you can ride your bike in your neighbourhood and try to find some kids. When you find some, you can go up and talk to them. You should also let your parents know that you want to make friends because they can help you. Second, you can ask your parents to take you to the library or some(public) places where there are lots of kids. You could try joining an art class or a sports club. These are all great ways to meet people. Third, you can try making friends in it if you go outing to take part in activities on Sundays.(you can try making friends at churches too if you go to church on Sundays.)In conclusion(What’s mre),try to be active wherever you are, but just be yourself and don’t try so hard. It takes time and patience. I hop you will find a best friend soon!
